What we do
We build every trip around the river itself, not a list of towns to check off. A route through the delta, across the border into Cambodia and on toward Laos follows the water the way a boatman reads it: where the channel still runs deep in the dry season, where a ferry crosses instead of a bridge, where a slow current turns a short hop into a half-day. Every itinerary is private and set to your own dates, whether that means a two-day loop out of Saigon or a fourteen-day run from the Golden Triangle in northern Thailand down to the delta’s nine river mouths.
We would rather tell you what the river actually looks like than sell you the postcard version. Cai Rang, the floating market every visitor asks for, now holds something close to a hundred boats at dawn, well down from the several hundred it had two decades ago, and it thins out fast after seven in the morning. Irrawaddy dolphins survive on this river in exactly one place, the Kampi pool near Kratie in Cambodia; the small population that used to swim past the Lao islands at Si Phan Don died out locally in 2022, so no itinerary of ours promises dolphins there. We would rather set that expectation before you book than let the river surprise you halfway through a trip.

Built around the river, not a country list
Most itineraries in this region are assembled city by city. Ours start from the water: where the current runs deep enough for a boat, where a border crossing happens on a river rather than a road, and how the seasons change what each stretch looks like.
Straight answers about the season
Low water between January and April moves some cruise boarding points and changes what a floating village looks like. We tell you that while we are planning the trip, not once you are already on the water.
One coordinator across every border
One planner puts together the whole route, even when it crosses two or three countries, and keeps checking in by email once you have left home, so a question that comes up mid-journey reaches someone already familiar with your plan.
Two days or fourteen, one country or four
Our shortest option is a quick escape out of Saigon; our longest links northern Thailand all the way down to the delta. Both ends of that range, and everything between, stay private and set to your own dates.
